When betting on Baccarat there are 3 different types of bets you can make..
- Betting on the Player.
- Betting on the banker.
- betting on the tie.
The object is to assemble a hand of two or three cards with a point value as close to nine as possible. The perfect hand is one that totals nine in the first two cards. Eight is the second-best hand and, along with the nine, it constitutes the two "natural" hands. The only hand that will beat a natural eight is a natural nine. If any player hand or the Bank has a natural eight or nine, the others may not draw a third card. In a tie, bets are called off.
Betting on the banker or betting on the player have the same odds giving you a 50 percent chance and in the event of a tie you get your initial bet back, but you should avoid betting on the tie.
Because in Baccarat one hand has no bearing on the outcome of the next hand, do not spend time looking for patterns. This would be a big waste of time it would be like trying to figure out what a slot machine will land on from watching the previous spin
Baccarat is usually played with 8 decks of cards, the less decks that are played with the better the odds for the betting on the banker.
Baccarat and mini Baccarat have the same rules except they have lower table limits and fewer players around the table. Mini-baccarat is good for beginners.
Try your luck, hope for the best and have fun!
