What is Countdown in Craps?

We propose a new exciting betting option for the game of craps called craps countdown.

Basic Rules:

The game of craps is played everywhere from back alleys to the most prestigious casinos. A wide variety of bets exists in craps which makes the game look more complex that it really is. In the core, the game is very simple. The player that acts as a shooter throws the dice and if they come with 7 or 11, he and all players who bet on him win. If they come with 2, 3 or 12, he immediately loses. Otherwise, the number he rolls must be repeated before 7 or 11 are rolled. Craps odds are fairly straightforward, and the shooter wins 49.29% of the time.

Why Play Countdown:

Every casino tries to make their games as lively as possible to attract more players and survive the tough competition. Everyone who has ever played craps, knows that the game is lively by its nature, but to add even more excitement to the game we offer a new betting angle for the game, we called Countdown

The Countdown Wager:

The Countdown bet works as follows: If the shooter rolls 5 or 9 at his first shot, all players who have bet on him can double their wager. Odds against winning on 5 or 9 are 6 to 4, no skilled player will increase his bet in such situation, but Countdown bet offers certain advantages: If the shooter rolls the dice ten more times without losing or winning the series, he automatically wins, and if the shooter wins rolling 5 or 9 exactly at his tenth roll, he is paid his previously doubled wager 10 to 1.

Countdown Analysis:

Analyzing the probabilities of Countdown outcomes, we see that originally the player has 40% probability to win on 5 or 9, so for every wagered dollar the player loses about 20 cents. The probability of rolling the losing 7 or the 5 or 9 point number in the first 9 rolls is 94.65, so a player who doubles his wager using the countdown option will win naturally 37.86% of the time, and will lose 56.79% of the time. 5.35% of the games will be decided by the tenth roll. In the tenth roll, the player will face 6 losing combinations, 4 combinations with the point number and 26 combinations of other numbers. It adds 3.86% to the probability of winning even money on the doubled bet, 0.89% to the losing probability and gives 0.59% probability to win the doubled bet ten times.

With the new option odds of the game almost do not change, but instead, the Countdown provides lots of excitement that will start from rolling 5 or 9 point number and will grow fast towards the decisive tenth roll.
