Celebrity Poker Showdown Host Quits

The pro poker player Phil Gordon leaves Celebrity Poker Showdown in Bravo Channel.

Phil Gordon had announced leaving his job as the host of Celebrity Poker Showdown in Bravo Channel. The pro poker player was hosting the popular poker TV series since its first show in December 2003 along with Kevin Pollak.

In his press release, Gordon declared that he decided to take his television career towards different directions. Gordon participated in 42 episodes of Celebrity Poker Showdown as a host.

Phil Gordon is a professional poker player who won a WPT championship and more than 1 million dollars in poker tournaments. In 2001 WSOP main event, he had managed to come fourth. He is also the author of the poker best seller Phil Gordons Little Green Book.
