Harrahs Entertainment had made a public announcement after Singapore government had rejected Harras proposal to develop a casino resort at the Marina Bay site. Singapore government had selected Las Vegas Sands bid.
Harrahs Entertainment Chairman, CEO and President Gary W. Loveman made the public announcement on Friday. Loveman had chosen to congratulate their competitors Las Vegas Sands and to express appreciation of the Singapore Tourism Board.
In his public statement, Loveman thanked the Caesars Singapore team for their talent, inspiration, and creativity in developing the proposal. He especially mentioned Chairman Lim and the Keppel Land and Richard Mirman, Harrahs senior vice president for business development who was the leader of the Caesars Singapore team.
