For the third time in less than six weeks, a Boyd Gaming Downtown casino has produced a million-dollar winner.

Peggy Beels of Ontario, California won $1.2 million on The Addams Family(TM) Reel Saturday afternoon at the Fremont Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. Beels, who had invested about $100 on the nickel IGT game, walked away with a check for the full amount. The first thing Beels said she was going to do was to pay off her bills and take a cruise.

The win was the third million-plus slot jackpot at a Boyd Gaming casino in about six weeks. On January 10, Hideko Sakamoto of Aiea, HI, won $3,677,071.12 playing a 25-cent "Wheel of Fortune" game at the California Hotel & Casino. On December 12, David T. Tukunaga of Honolulu, also playing at the California Hotel & Casino grabbed a $2.5 million jackpot playing a $1 "Wheel of Fortune" slot machine.

In addition, on June 4, Alex Aris of Ewa Beach, Hawaii won $1 playing Keno at the Fremont Hotel & Casino.
