Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City had announced hosting two performances by the top comedian Dave Chappelle. Chappelle performances are scheduled to August 25, 2006, at 7:30 pm and 11:30 pm and they will take place at the Borgata Event Center. Tickets to both of the shows are already on sale since Saturday.
Dave Chappelle had already performed in the past at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. The successful comedian will be revisiting Borgata Atlantic City as part of his current stand up comedy performances tour across the state.
The 33 years old stand up comedian was born and raised in Washington DC. His first TV appearance occurred in 1992 on Def Comedy Jam. His debut silver screen appearances was in 1993 as Ahchoo in Robin Hood: Men in Tights. In 1998, Chappelle became a cult figure after co-writing and starring in the film Half Baked.
During the two seasons of his weekly hit TV show on Comedy Central, Chappelles Show, he had proven his talent as a comedian with a social and political sensitivity. The show was one of Comedy Central most successful television show, until Chappell had left the show during the production of its third season. Currently, Chappelle tours the US in his stand up comedian performances.
