Theaubergineroom internet cafe and gaming centre in Crowthorne, Berkshire is holding a new computer games competition. During the competition, computer games from the Bracknell, Crowthorne, Sandhurst and Camberley areas are competing against each other in the popular action game Counter Strike: Source for the 100 sterling pounds prize.
The Counter Strike: Source competition will be held at theaubergineroom internet and gaming centre in Crowthorne until the October half term holiday. In the competition, each player who makes a kill in the game, gets a virtual lottery ticket. At the end of the league, one lucky ticket holder would take home the grand prize.
Managing Director Tom Kranz said that the computer games league offers young skill games players an opportunity to compete in a large tournament. He added that since the league lasts for more than two months the players could play whenever they want. Theaubergineroom Tournaments Coordinator, James Daneri, said that the lottery format of the prize offers an equal opportunity to win the grand prize.
